On-the-job training
Eligible veterans and transitioning service members have the opportunity to participate in paid on-the-job training with one of our Partner Employers, while their new employer can earn reimbursement through Home Base Wichita.
Who is Eligible for OJT?
- Veterans—regardless of length of service or condition of discharge
- Transitioning Military
- National Guard/Reservists
- Student Veterans
Additionally, eligible candidates must be:
- Able to work full-time
- Unemployed, OR
- Underemployed
- Employed part-time—20 hours or less/week
- Earning $15.40/hour or less
